Dr. Carrie LaMere
DVM
Dr. Carrie LaMere was inspired to pursue her veterinary career path by her mother and her mother’s love of animals. She grew up in Crown Point with various pets, and when she got her first horse, she set her mind on becoming a veterinarian. She was an active member of Lake County 4-H for ten years growing up. After graduating from Andrean High School, she attended Purdue University and graduated from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.
She currently has 2 dogs, several barn cats, and 4 horses. She has continued to be involved in Lake County 4-H and youth sports over the years and spends her free time visiting her kids and showing one of her horses.
